Tastes So Good Tuesday: Happy Pancake Day!!

Hey guys! First off, I'm sorry that last Tuesday's feature never happened, I had a really crappy day at Uni and honestly, it just slipped my mind - I'm only human! Not to worry because I'm back at it in full force today!

Today's post is a follow up to one of this blog's most-read-ever posts!

Today in the UK, it is National Pancake Day!!

That's right - this blog post is ALLLLL about pancakes! In a similar fashion to last years Pancake-day fiesta, I'm going to share some of my NEW faaave pancake toppings with you all :) And yes - THEYRE HEALTHY PANCAKES

My Berry Brilliance Pancake Day Morning Pancake
Blueberries mixed into the batter, raspberries and strawberries on top

My basic recipe for all pancakes is the same and as follows;

1 scoop Perfect Fit Protein Powder (Can be substituted for any Protein or 1/4 Cup flour)
1.5 tbsp of Ground Flaxseed
5-6 tbsp egg whites
Splash of Almond Milk (or any kind of fat-free milk)
Dash of Cinnamon (or loads if you're me hehe)

You mix all of these ingredients together, pour into a hot pan and cook as you would any normal pancake (2 mins-ish on each side)

Now for the good stuff! (Although I apologise in advance for my really really bad names of the recipes haha)

My favourittttte toppings from the year (I know I eat a lot of pancakes haha - I'm always experimenting!)

Unless otherwise stated, just add your ingredients on top of the pancake you've made!

Apple and Cinnamon Extravaganza!
-- Up the Cinnamon content in your base recipe
-- Add two tablespoons of Unsweetened Applesauce into your base recipe
-- Spread 1 tbsp of Unsweetened Applesauce on top of your finished pancake
-- Finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and stevia

Citrus Crusher
-- Add the juice of a 1/2 lime, juice of 1/2 lemon and 2 tbsps of freshly squeezed OJ in your base mix
-- Once cooked, top with fresh orange segments

Pineapple Passion
-- Add 2 tbsp of all natural pineapple juice into your base mix
-- Top your pancake with chunks of fresh pineapple, stevia and coconut shavings!

Chocolate Cherry Creation
(Lame name - I know!!)
-- Chop up some cherries (de-stone obviously!), fold them in to your pancake mix before cooking
-- Substitute your almond milk in the base recipe for chocolate almond milk
-- Add 1/2 tsp of cherry extract if you like too!
-- Melt some dark chocolate and allow to cool slightly before drizzling over your pancake!

Berry Brilliance
Pictured at the very top of the blog!

-- Add a handful of blueberries into your pancake mix
-- Top with Chopped strawberries and Raspberries
-- Why not try one of the syrups from last years blog too?

Red Velvet Chocolate Cake Valentines Pancake
Say whaaaaat? I KNOW!
-- Add red food colouring and 1tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder to your mixture
-- Substitue the almond milk for chocolate almond milk
-- Whip up some cream cheese frosting for your topper!
-- And some melted dark chocolate if you're like me! ;)

That's it!! Shall we turn this into an annual event? I think so ;)

This has possibly been my best Tastes So Good Tuesday yet!! I still want you to send me your recipes! I can't wait to feature them (full credit given of course!)

Happy Pancake Day :)

Photo Check in for some of Day 1!
7 Day Slim Down Day 1 Complete!!

I'm feeling great!

I'm not going to share all of my meals because that's not fair to the girls but it would be right to say that I'm eating extremely lean, clean and green! I'm not feeling hungry either!

I didn't get a booty call in but I made up for it in the afternoon with the Bikini Sculpt and a long walk! I also managed to get a lot of studying done so all in all it was a very good day!

As you know I'm posting this on Tuesday but even after one day I'm already seeing and feeling results. I definitely feel firmer! I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to give the day everything I've got!
I'm looking forward to day 2!

If you don't know, the plan I'm following is the Tone It Up 7 Day Slim Down, which is part of the  Tone It Up Diet Plan :)

7 Day Slim Down...

Hi loves! It's time! I've been looking forward to this for weeks now! I'm starting the Tone It Up 7 Day Slim Down (from the Tone It Up Diet Plan) because I go on vacation in 8 days and there's only 3 days left of the bikini challenge!! Ahhh!! Time to get serious!

I want to tone up and just be extra confident in my bikini next week! Any weight loss would be a bonus :)

There's a bunch of girls on Twitter helping me out and the video below shouts out to ALL of them hehe!

I'm sorry the video got cut off! There was an emergency! A lady on the street fell over but I pretty much got the chance to say everything I wanted to :)

I'll be checking in on the blog and on YouTube all week! 7 Day Slim Down baby!! Whooo!

Beach Babe Update!

Hey guys! I'm sorry I've been so MIA recently :(

I'm approaching the most important exams of my life so far so I've been studying like crazy! There's also been lots of family things going on but not to worry I've been working like a badass Beach Babe ;) I also go on vacation with 5 of my friends in less than 3 weeks! So I've been planning an preparing for that too!

As many of you know the Tone It Up bikini challenge is almost over! =(

The official end date of the challenge is the first day of Summer - June 20th. That gives us (as of today) 12 days left to get into the best shape of our lives for this bikini season.

Don't stop or give up now! We're so close and these last few days really really count! Remember to eat lean, clean and green and get your sculpting/HIIT workouts in to get the most out of every day,

For anybody that would like to join me, I will be starting the 7 Day Slim Down (from the original Diet Plan) on Monday 18th June to prepare for my vacation! Feel free to email/tweet/facebook me if you'd like to get involved!

Love Georgie <3

PS - sorry about the recycling of pictures! I'm on my boyfriends computer x

My First Ever Seven Day Slim Down!

Hello! It has been a long time since I've blogged and I do apologise for that: I already know what one of my New Years Resolutions will be! (P.S this is a picture-of-me OVERLOAD post!)

Rocking my TIU Tank at the gym on Day 1 of the Slim Down
On Monday 28th November I started my first ever Tone It Up Seven Day Slim Down. I think the majority who read this may know but the Seven Day Slim Down is a part of the Tone It Up Diet Plan, which by the way is one of the best things I've ever bought, and works alongside the plan.

One of the BEST things about this week for me, and I'm getting this out there now, is that I had the most amazing group of women doing it with me. There wre 25 of us that continued to motivate each other and share recipes, workouts and more! Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and I hope that you had the results you wanted!

Day 1
I started the 7 Day Slim down at 154lbs on Monday. I finished the day so energised and so ready to keep going. I loved the feeling that eating so clean and working out gave me. A big thing for me to get used to throughout the week was the portion size. It was very difficult but after eating my first meal off of the slim down - I couldnt finish it!
My First EVER Perfect Protein Pancake - VERY happy!
Tuesday was a little bit tougher, it was my earliest start and latest finish and I think that ran me down. I was still determined and I really enjoyed the day, I just felt tired.

Thursday was my worst day, I felt that I was craving absolutley everything I couldn't eat on the plan and I getting tired, cranky and I think I really was driving people mad. I didn't cave in and eat anything 'bad' and I'm so proud of myself for that  - thank you very much to my TIU sisters for keeping me on track that day!

Day 7 - Over the Moon :D
This weekend though was really difficult for me. I woke up on Saturday morning to the sound of my mum crying hysterically. I went in to her room to see her and she'd lost her sight. Long story short she spent the whole weekend in and out of the hospital and I lost sight of the Slimdown and honestly it wasn't at the top of my important things list. She is at home now and her sight is mainly back. They think it was an allergic reaction. Really my Slimdown ended on Friday.

That's a quick overview of my experience; I honestly loved it and I'm looking forward to doing it again! If anything, although I am a little dissapointed with my results, I'm more motivated than ever and I can't wait to continue my journey with Tone It Up ♥

Here are my final stats;
Starting weight; 154lbs. Finishing weight; 151lbs.
2 inches off hips. 1 inch off waist
