FITNESS | My Colour Run Experience

On New Year's Day, I was up for a challenge. I had not ran in an organised event since my half marathon in February 2012 so I jumped at the chance to run a Colour Run with the Tone It Up Arizona girls. The Colour Run has been on my radar for a while now and I've wanted to run one for ages! I had signed up for one in September 2014 but it got rained off! I was devastated as I had really been looking forward to it so I couldn't wait for this race. What made it even better was that it was part of the new Colour Run - the Shine Tour! Think Colour Run + Glitter!

Travel Adventures, New York New York!

At the end of October I was lucky enough to celebrate my 21st birthday by spending the weekend in New York with an incredible group of women who I'm inspired to know through the Tone It Up community. I was apprehensive to be away from home for my birthday but my weekend could not have been better. Elle, Forde (Elle's impeccably behaved, adorable 6 month old son), Amberlea and I landed on the Thursday ready for a weekend of exploring. 

Visiting New York has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. And on the last weekend in October, it finally came true.

Before my I began my new life in Arizona, my family and I spent a week together in LA! It seemed to be the perfect way to offset the jet lag and spend one last week together before I spent the year away from them!
