If you ask my mum, she will argue that my iPhone is glued to my hand every minute of the day (watch out for her face as payback in all of my screenshots hehe). Whilst I profusely disagree, I know I would be lost without it. This post details all of the apps I use regularly, as well as why I find them useful and why they've stood the test of time! I would say 95% of the apps on my phone are free too! The apps I have paid for will be indicated.
I'm a bit OCD so all of my apps are sorted in to folders, I like being able to see as much space as possible, as well as keeping things organised. I know my boyfriend's sister finds this really weird - but to each their own! (Hi Sue!)

In a world that is becoming more and more reliant on technology and health-concsious, it is not surprising that these two worlds have merged and there are an abundance of technological fitness products. It's turning in to a bit of a mine-field! However I do believe sometimes these products can be more of a hinderance than a help - which is totally not the point of technology!
Below, you'll find information about the products I used or have used in the past to help me on my fitness journey, plus some great information about how these two fields are fusing to benefit people!
2015 New Year's Resolutions
Happy New Year!! I find it impossible to believe that another year has passed already, but it has and here we are! January 1st 2015. I wonder how long I'll keep writing 2014 for!! Every year it's the same hehe!
As I've done in previous years, I wanted to post my New Year's resolutions. Although, this year - I don't have any! As you may have seen from my Year in Review post, I have had the most amazing 2014. I really don't see how it could get much better. All I can really wish for and hope to achieve in 2014 is to maintain and improve! I'll explain in more detail below.
The Tone It Up Nutrition Plan
It's been a while! If you're subscribed to my channel on YouTube, you would have seen a video in the last few weeks of my ramblings about why it's been such a long time and a massive apology!
Let me do one for the blog now! I'm so sorry it's been so long, school is taking up so much of my time. Law degrees are not easy! Please for one second don't feel as if I'm wilfully neglecting Diary of! I love this aspect of my life and just wish I had more time for it. School is nearly finished so please bear with me for just a few more weeks!
Today, however, I want to talk about the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan!
The Bikini Bridge
I have never really commented on news articles and such on the blog before, but when I came across a few articles about the new trend of a 'Bikini Bridge', I felt inclined to comment!
Now supposedly, the Bikini Bridge is the new Thigh Gap - something to aspire to. The Bridge is a where your hip bones cause your bikini bottoms to suspend over your stomach. The image below comes from Blogilates. I am absolutely disgusted by this! And the reasons why are below...

Travel Series: Vacation Nutrition!
Welcome to Part 2 of the Summer Travel Series! Did you see part 1? It was all about keeping active whilst you're away!
Today's post is all about nutrition. You will have heard me say before that nutrition is the most important component if you're looking to lose weight or tone up. However, don't forget my GOLDEN RULE of travelling! Remember to have fun, everything else (yes I mean diet and exercise) comes second!
Travelling is the PERFECT opportunity to experience world cuisine! From the gelato in Italy to the tapas in Spain, anywhere you go will have a local specialty! Part of the fun of going on vacation is emerging yourself in the local culture - that includes the food!
Finding Your Motivation
It's no secret that motivation is so important. It's what gets you up in the morning and what gets you through that gruelling workout. Without motivation, as I'm sure you've experienced(!), it can be easy for your drive to ground to a halt.
