During the last weekend in January, I had the opportunity to travel up to Denver, Colorado! Denver was on my list of places to visit whilst I'm in the US for my study abroad year so I was excited to finally make it happen! IT was even more special because I got to meed my Dad there! He had flown over from the UK for a conference and getting the chance to see him out here was just magical! See below for more details about our trip!

My Travel Adventures: Greece!
I feel like I spent most of this year so far talking about how excited I was to go to Greece!
As I sit here on our last night, I can honestly say this has been the best vacation of my life.
My family and my aunt, uncle and cousin all arrived on the island of Kefalonia on the 7th Juy. We stayed in a small town called Agia Efimia and it was just perfect. There were different beaches, plenty of restaurants as well as supermarkets, bakers and butchers!

We stayed in the most gorgeous villa complete with 4 bedrooms, playroom and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. I have never stayed in a villa with so much equipment - it was just like being at home!
The pool was gorgeous. I spent many a day on a lounger reading, listening to music and playing in the water! I had a semi-permanent spot on a lilo in the pool for the afternoon!

One of the highlights of the trip was taking a boat out on our first Saturday. Visiting beaches that you could only access via boat and being the only ones on them was something special! I never expected the water to be so clear or so warm!

Whilst we were here I snorkelled for the first time! In all honesty I had always been a bit nervous in the sea, even though I'm a competent swimmer! During our time in Greece that all changed for me! I loved our trips to the beach and spent almost all of our time there in the water! Highlights were seeing an octopus (thankfully in slightly deeper water than I was in!) and a gloriously red starfish submerged in a rock pool.

The food, whilst similar on every menu was gorgeous. Not exactly the most diet friendly but still extremely fresh and delicious! My nicest meal was a gorgeously cooked sea bream which had been caught that morning!

I would come back to Greece in a heartbeat. Everyone we've spoken to has been unbelievably friendly and courteous. The prices of everything has been incredibly reasonable and according to the weather stays warm for the majority of the year! We've not seen a single cloud whilst we've been here and apparently that's the norm until November!
Island life is definitely the way for me!
I have 180 something photos on my Facebook page so feel free to check them out!
My next adventure is as of yet unplanned. Stay tuned! I have wanderlust. I can't stay in the UK for too long!
Love and hugs

It's no secret that keeping up with nutrition on travel days, no matter your mode of transport, can be difficult. Whether it's greasy airport food or whatever is served on the snack cart on the train, keeping it lean, clean and green can be a struggle!
This week I've put together some tips to help you fight back! As always, preparation and planning is key. In the video below, I've shared some simple, cheap and effective travel snacking ideas!
Until next week!
All my love,
Georgie :)
My Travel Adventures: Copenhagen!
I took a short but sweet city break a few weeks back! I visited Copenhagen in Denmark for three days and had such a wonderful time! I had never been to Scandinavia before but I will definitely be going back! The people were so friendly, the town itself was gorgeous and I honestly can not express how much fun I had!

Day 1
We didn't land until about 7pm after delays at the airport so once we arrived we quickly checked in, changed and went out to dinner! We went to a place called Nyhavn - it was so pretty!

I got up, hit the gym (what a good Tone It Up girl!), went to breakfast and then went exploring! I had a map, walked around Copenhagen and saw all of the sights I wanted to! I also squeezed in a little bit of shopping and a £7 latte!! Stupid currency conversion haha
