Recipe: Thai Turkey Burgers

Last night I had the pleasure of cooking dinner for my household (my mother, father and sister). I really enjoy cooking and more than that I love spicy, exotic flavours. So I chose to cook Thai Turkey Burgers for us all. I was inspired by an old Tone It Up video that I'd watched the night before!
My Burgers before they went in the oven - huge right!

I'm going to give you the recipe for just the basic patty and I promise you that the whole process took no more than 30 minutes (with 20-25 minutes cooking time!). You can also do it with only 3 ingredients!

You're going to need
- Turkey Mince  (500g made four large burgers)
- 3-4 Spring Onions (I believe you call them Scallions in the US haha)
- 1 tbs Red or Green Thai Curry Paste (I found some red paste on the Wal Mart website so I hope you can get it in America!)

Method
- Preheat oven: Gas Mark 6 / 400°F
- Finely chop the Spring Onions, add to large bowl
- Empty mince into bowl
- Add 1 tablespoon of curry paste into bowl
- Mix together
- Seperate and roll/flatten into patty's and place on baking tray
- Cook for 20 minutes until meat is thoroughly cooked through (check the middle! - They are thick!)
- Serve!

So thats obviously the recipe just for the patty but as well as the Spring Onions you can add grated carrot, ginger, different spices; all sorts! You can also serve it with rice, sweet potato fries, salad - anything! of course you can add your burger garnish too =D

I hope you enjoy! Please let me know if you make them and how they taste - what they look like etc!
