Musical HIIT

So you've heard of musical chairs? What about musical bumps? Those childhood games we loved to play?

I present to you, Musical HIIT - or high itensity interval training. Musical HIIT is a variation of those games! HIIT training is a great way to boost metabolism and therefore maximise calorie burn by using 'shock tactics' with your body - it never knows what's coming next! Studies suggest incorporating HIIT into your workout 3 times a week is great.

The Rules
- Choose 6 songs on your iPod and put them in a playlist
- Go out for a run and sprint as fast as you can every time you get to any chorus in any of the five songs as you work through
- For the rest of the song jog at a comfortable pace to recover!

Trust me, 6 songs is more than enough! You should get in a good 20 minute workout and as choruses pop up quite a lot you'll be sure to feel great after!
