Olympic Challenge Day 9!

This challenge will take you through day 9 and day 10 as tomorrow is your first rest day athletes!

I travel to Spain tomorrow, and just as thousands of athletes have travelled to London, I want you to tell me how you stay fit, healthy and active when you're away from home.

Do you go to the gym in your hotel? What do you pack to ensure you stay on track?

Let me know!

  1. hi doll! hope spain is fab so far!

i travel a lot for business and always choose a hotel that has a fitness center. when timing makes use of gym equipment impossible, i rely on my handy printables (did the new hotel WO on a trip to aspen last week and it was great - so creative/clever!).

packing healthy snacks -- perfect fit packets, freeze-dried fruit, jerky, nut butter packets, kale chips, oatmeal packets, protein bars, etc. - is KEY for me!! helps me avoid bad airport choices, and since work travel often means odd hours and rushing, helps me keep to my own regular meal schedule.

  2. Omg Spain! How beautiful is it? I really want to go someday! Please post pics, I want to see!! heehee

So about the vacation fitness topic. I was on vaca last month and I noticed how much my body wanted to workout even though I was on a relaxing trip. So I ran outside almost every other day. Enjoying the sight seeing and people around you. I also did some toning exercises at home, following TIU routines I took already printed out.
And you know what? Just walking around the city was awesome. I had my pedometer on everyday and tried to reach over 10,000 steps a day and I did!

Just be active and have fun!!!
