Maintaining the Balance! Fit for Christmas Challenge

I feel like I must have written a million posts on this by now but for some reason I am still struggling! If you follow my blog, you'll know I've started university recently, I have a job that I'm working about 19 hours a week at and I'm trying to lose weight too as well as trying to find time to see my boyfriend (his schedule is almost as busy as mine!). I do 7 day weeks and I try my hardest not to complain but sometimes you just need to right! I am a positive person and I am coping but sometimes I'd just like a day of doing nothing!

I remind myself constantly that I have literally worked my ass off to get on to this course and I will need to continue to work my ass off to stay here and do well. This course is a dream for me and I'm not about to give up or give it anything but my all. 

I work because I like to earn a living. I pride myself on not having taken out a student loan (yet!) and whilst I do not object to people who choose not to work whilst studying, that was never an option for me. I enjoy my job, I love who I work with and I love the reward when payday comes along!

I'm trying to lose weight. My Tone It Up journey began almost two years ago and I hate the fact that over this summer, when work and a new environment (Uni) got in the way, I lost all motivation and have gained most of the weight I lost. I absolutely have nobody to blame but myself. All that's to it is to do it as the old saying goes but I just don't seem to do it! This morning, for example, I woke up with all the motivation to get in a booty call but when it came to it I got up, got dressed and went downstairs to watch the Glee project! What has happened to me!! 

I have all the want in the world to lose the weight and get back to where I was in August and further. I am more than capable of doing it because I've done it before!! This post is almost a rant at myself because I'm so frustrated at myself! 


My progress this summer - determined to get back there!

As of right now, given that it is exactly two months until Christmas day, my goal is to lose 15 lbs by Christmas day. I will do it. I am so freaking determined but I need your help!
I know I'm capable of doing it but I've just gotten lazy! 

I need to do the following
- Commit to daily workouts at least 5 days a week (my Half Marathon training will help with this)
- Pack my meals and bring them to Uni 
- Stick to the TIU plan
- Make the time in the day to do everything I need to (Uni, work etc) even if it means getting up earlier
- Monitor my progress and check in with EXACTLY where I am weekly!

I'm calling this the Fit for Christmas challenge! It is more for myself but I'm happy to turn it into a little competition if you like! Comment below with ideas and suggestions :)


Join me in getting #FitForChristmas! I'm determined and am planning my workouts already! I know we can do it!
