Tone It Up International

I consider myself pretty lucky to be a TIU UK girl. I'm one of the few people that aren't based in the US that follow Tone It Up and sometimes I hate it, ok - the majority of the time I wish I lived in the US so I was closer to all of my sisters. However, sometimes, being the international has its perks!

Some of the best experiences of my life so far have been when I've had the chance to meet some of my TIU sisters who aren't based in the UK!

The first example was when I met one of the first girls I ever got close to through Tone It Up - Emma! Emma is in the UK (for not much longer now!) for six months from New Zealand and I've had the privilege of meeting up with her twice! The first time we had a slightly disastrous trip to an aquarium (which was more like one big fish tank) and the second time she came down for my birthday! I can't wait to meet up with her again next week before she goes home!

I was also so so lucky to meet Stephanie, who you will know as @StephyTonesItUp from Twitter at the Pats game in London a few weeks ago! She was so smily and lovely and I wish I could have spent all day with her! Everything you see in her check in videos - is real life! Steph was in London for the Pats game and for a few days after that but I was so pleased we managed to meet up in what was a crazy-busy Tailgate Party!

I also know (and am so jealous of the fact) that loads of girls met up in New York recently! Some of my nearest and dearest TIU Sisters were there (including the ever wonderful Petra!) and they had a fabulous time at lunch! I was so so so so so touched to receive a birthday card from all of these beautiful ladies! It's something I will treasure forever!

So if you're considering joining TIU but you're a little unsure because, like me, you're an international - don't be afraid! There are thousands of us all over the world! On the Tone It Up Community there are tonnes of groups from countries worldwide that you can join and look for sisters in your area! 

As well as this, Tone It Up will ship internationally and their Beach Babe DVD is multi-regional (so it will work whatever your DVD player!). A word of warning though - on receiving my big bag of Perfect Fit Protein (The TIU Protein), I was charged import duties (£12) although I wasn't with the individual serving packets! All of my TIU orders (I have the sweatshirt, DVDs, protein, and more!) have arrived in the UK within two weeks :)

To all my TIU US sisters - I WILL BE IN THE US SOON! My family and I are looking to come to New York and Boston in July time and maybe (just maybe - it's very early days!!) Charlie (my boyfriend) and I are looking to come to California in June. At the moment our trip consists of LA, Hermosa Beach and San Fran but it's crazy expensive so whether or not we'll make it is yet to be seen!

If not - I will be spending a year in the States for the third year of my degree program which will be the 2014-2015 academic year! Excited is an understatement!
