Hey guys! Welcome to the first edition of the brand new segment here on the blog! I've called it Tastes So Good Tuesday's so you can imagine that it's going to be alllll about food! Trust me - you're going to want to forget Dominos Two for Tuesdays!

I'm going to post a recipe for you each Tuesday! The twist is...it's not always going to be one of my recipes! I want you guys to be involved too! So; SEND ME YOUR RECIPES!! All of my contact details are above and I can't wait to hear from you guys!

Today's recipe is a twist on one of my favourites! What I love about it is that it's so versatile; you can switch it up each time you do it; it's also super ridiculously yummy and I can't wait to have it for my dinner tonight!

Spicy Mince Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients (4 Servings)
500g Mince (any kind! my favourite for this recipe is Turkey or Pork mince)
2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
1 Inch Chunk of Root Ginger (chopped finely)
1 Red Chilli (chopped finely) ***optional***
2 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Juice of 1 Lime
Zero Cal Cooking Spray
Lettuce Cups of your choice :)

Method
  • Spray a large pan with cooking spray (I use a wok)
  • Put Chilli, Ginger and Garlic into the pan and cook for 1 minute, keeping it constantly on the move
  • Put the mince you've chosen into the pan and cook until browned
  • Add the Lime juice and the Soy and cook for a further three to five minutes
  • Add mince mix to a lettuce cup and enjoy!

That's it! Super simple!

Let me know if you try this and be sure to send me your own recipes!!
