Today's recipe is a twist on one of my favourites! What I love about it is that it's so versatile; you can switch it up each time you do it; it's also super ridiculously yummy and I can't wait to have it for my dinner tonight!
Spicy Mince Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients (4 Servings)
500g Mince (any kind! my favourite for this recipe is Turkey or Pork mince)
2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
1 Inch Chunk of Root Ginger (chopped finely)
1 Red Chilli (chopped finely) ***optional***
2 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Juice of 1 Lime
Zero Cal Cooking Spray
Lettuce Cups of your choice :)
Method
- Spray a large pan with cooking spray (I use a wok)
- Put Chilli, Ginger and Garlic into the pan and cook for 1 minute, keeping it constantly on the move
- Put the mince you've chosen into the pan and cook until browned
- Add the Lime juice and the Soy and cook for a further three to five minutes
- Add mince mix to a lettuce cup and enjoy!
That's it! Super simple!
Let me know if you try this and be sure to send me your own recipes!!
