Changes to be Bikini Ready!

Today marks 5 weeks until I jet off to Kefalonia in Greece! Excited is an understatement! I NEED some Vitamin D!

It's no secret I've been working hard to feel amazing in that bikini when I'm there but with such a short amount of time before I go, I'm making some little changes that will make a whole lot of difference!





My Changes

  1. I will only drink coffee after lunch if it's a gloomy, miserable day (like today!) and I will only use Almond Milk after 12pm! This will focus my attention on drinking more water which will help me to debloat!
  2. I will get whichever bus arrives first after I finish a shift at work! Normally I will wait for the one which means I have to walk less when I get off at home but NOT ANYMORE! 
  3. I will increase my protein intake (oh hey Perfect Fit!) post workout to make sure I'm giving my body the recovery it needs!
  4. I will smile as often as I can to encourage positivity!
  5. I will cut out all starches that I can control in the afternoon. In meals that are out of my control (such as my M5!) I will substitute starches for alternatives where possible! 
  6. I will cut out ALL crappy junk foods! No more sweets, crisps, chips etc! This is rarely a problem for me but there are occasions where I find myself snacking on potato chips in a social situation! Not anymore!
  7. I will cut out all alcohol (I hardly drink so this one won't be hard!)
  8. I will experiment with different smoothies and add in greens!
  9. I will start taking walks after M5! I will use this time to clear my head, focus on me and my accomplishments! No phones allowed for this walk! Although my dog can come ;)
  10. I will journal every night and remind myself of my goals, my intentions and the steps I've taken towards them that day!
That's it! Consider this my action plan! I know I am so so close to getting to my ultimate goal weight and this plan can only help! 

I will continue to be a diligent Tone It Up girl and follow the nutrition plan because that's when I feel my best!

  2. those are great changes georgie! you got this girl, you're going to be a stunner in greece (well you are already a stunner).

    and once you start adding greens to your smoothies, you won't go back! an incredible nutrient boost (i am especially keen on the iron they add) without much of a flavor difference... my favorite combo is:
    - 80 to 100 grams raw kale or spinach (both are pretty sweet in their raw state!)
    - 1 cup almond milk
    - 1/2 frozen banana
    - vanilla stevia
    - 1/2 scoop Perfect Fit
    - 8 grams peanut flour (or sub for about 1/2 tbsp. of peanut butter or almond butter)
    - 1 tsp. spirulina
    - 3 ice cubes

    seriously this is the bombbbbbb... tastes like vanilla and nut butter but deliciously green and healthy.

    anyway, good for you for putting together this action plan, we are all behind you... here's to a fabulous vacation in greece!
