Finding Your Motivation

It's no secret that motivation is so important. It's what gets you up in the morning and what gets you through that gruelling workout. Without motivation, as I'm sure you've experienced(!), it can be easy for your drive to ground to a halt.





It's so important to pinpoint what motivates you. Having that inspiration is not only going to push you but it's going to keep you reaching for your goals. It can be very easy to think 'I don't want to go to the gym today' or sometimes, let's be honest, we're just not feeling it and that's ok!! But it's your motivation that's going to pick you back up.

What is it that motivates you? Your family? Your personal health? Accomplishments? A goal weight? That bikini? All of this is great! Knowing what it is that you're striving for will make the journey so much more worth it. If you're like me, sweating it out time and time again - make it worth something! Plan a date, book a vacation - anything to work towards to keep in the back of your mind to keep you going :)


What to do now that you've found your motivation? Visualise it! One of my favourite things to do is create a vision board, or a collage or a Pinterest board full of motivational quotes or images of things that inspire me that relate to my goal. It can be really relaxing as well as beneficial! 

Whatever your motivation is, make sure you're doing it for you! You are just as important (if not more important!) than everyone else in your life - so make the most of that! You are beautiful and you are worthy!

Enjoy finding your motivation - it can be a really exciting journey!
