| Some seriously well-loved product! |
I'll start with BADgal lash. This was the first of the mascaras I owned and I fell in love with it from the first application. The brush is bristled, big and chunky and separates out lashes beautifully. The formula is not at all clumpy and I don't think I have ever had 'spider-lashes' with this product!! Benefit sell the mascara in black, waterproof black, plum and brown. I've only used the black so I can't really comment on the others but I have absolutely no complaints! The formula doesn't run, the length and volume it gives my lashes is quite honestly amazing and it is absolutely 100% in the top 3 of products in my make up bag!
They're Real is Benefit's newest mascara. It's the more expensive of the two and it claims to be the UK's best selling mascara. At first, I'll admit, I was reluctant to jump on the They're Real bandwagon, just because I loved BADgal so much! If it ain't broke don't fix it right? I took the plunge when Benefit bought out a package deal where you got the travel-size mascara for free when purchasing the full sized. I have to say I have not been disappointed!
It took me a while to get used to the applicator - it's a all-angles rubber brush and having used a bristle brush for so long, I did struggle getting my lashes to their full potential! Now that I'm more used to it, I LOVE it! I get fuller lashes than I do with BADgal and I would also say I can get them to look longer too. They really do start to resemble false lashes! They're Real is perfect for any night out without having to worry about losing the glue for your falsies!
For a more dramatic look, They're Real is perfect, but I still have to say that I think BADgal just wins it for me for day-to-day application!!
