My Life | Travel Adventures in Denver

During the last weekend in January, I had the opportunity to travel up to Denver, Colorado! Denver was on my list of places to visit whilst I'm in the US for my study abroad year so I was excited to finally make it happen! IT was even more special because I got to meed my Dad there! He had flown over from the UK for a conference and getting the chance to see him out here was just magical! See below for more details about our trip!
Denver is a beautiful city! I LOVED the older brick buildings that still retained so much of their original charm. Seeing old business names painted on the side of them was really special!

On the Friday night we went to an ice hockey game at the Pepsi Center to watch the Denver Avalanche play the Nashville Predators. It was such a fantastic experience! Ice Hockey is my new favourite sport. The atmosphere was amazing and the game was so easy to follow - I struggle so much when I watch it on TV hehe!

The best part was meeting up with long term Tone It Up sisters! I was so excited to FINALLY see Holli, Jeree and Jules and I love that we got to see the game together.

One of the biggest parts of the weekend was Superbowl Sunday!! As a long-term Seattle Seahawks fan (I don't want to talk about it - I know, he should have ran), I was so excited to be in the US to experience the Superbowl, instead of staying up until the early hours of the morning in the UK! We went down to a sports bar in our hotel and drunk beer, ate wings and experienced the best Superbowl I ever have!! Not only was the game really exciting, the atmosphere was great!! It was definitely an experience never to forget!

Denver was the most incredible trip, I keep thinking about it with the biggest smile on my face and I've come back to Arizona with amazing memories.

Have you ever been to Denver? What destinations are on your wish-list?

All my love,
