Recently, the wonderful team over at Tone It Up released the 3rd instalment of the Beach Babe Fitness series: Beach Babe 3! It's been two years since the 2nd DVD was released so I have been anxiously awaiting the 3rd. Filmed in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, this DVD has everything you would want from a fitness DVD. The Beach Babe 3 DVD is packed with 8 workouts you can do from the comfort of your own home or on the go if you purchase the digital downloads too! As well as the 8 workouts there are 3 bonus videos where your trainers talk you through morning motivation tips, tips for fab abs and an introduction video.
Just like the first two instalments, you will need a set of dumbbells. However this DVD also has a gym ball workout, a resistance band workout and a kettle bell workout! So if you don't plan on doing these workouts in the gym, you'll need this equipment for home too if you don't already have them.
Just like the other DVD's there are toning workouts for all of the areas you want to work; abs, booty, arms as well as a cardio workout - Ultimate Bootycall.
These workouts have the perfect balance of Tone It Up moves you've come to love, like the old team favourite; the TIU Tummy Tuck, as well as brand new moves.
This DVD is unlike any other Tone It Up workout I have ever done. I feel them for days after! They're tough, challenging and when you've finished you really feel like you've accomplished a LOT! If you want a good, tough workout in a short amount of time (the workouts range from 8-38 minutes long), then the Beach Babe 3 is the DVD for you. I LOVE the Beach Babe series but if you're only going to get one of them, make it this one just for the sheer immensity of the workouts. They truly are like taking a class. I sweat just as much if not more and I feel like I get so much more out of it than the other DVD's. My personal favourite - Coconut Core and Booty.
Aesthetically, the DVD is beautiful. The backdrop of Playa Del Carmen is so pretty and the styling as well as everything from the transitions to menu is just perfect. The beachy theme, as always, is hugely motivating in itself.
All in all, I am in LOVE with the Beach Babe 3 - everything about it is gorgeous! If I had one complaint about it, it would be the amount of equipment you need (I only have weights at home) if you're not going to take it to the gym with you. Other than that it is everything I want and MORE from a fitness DVD.
