MY LIFE | Things I Will Miss in Arizona

The View from Camelback Mountain
I've been seriously struggling with mixed emotions about my return home this weekend. As you could see from my post on Monday, I'm seriously excited to be back at home. That being said, there's a large part of me that's really sad to be leaving Arizona too. My whole life has been here for the past 9 months and on Sunday it will all end, and pretty abruptly too. See below for some of the things I will really miss about Arizona!

The Sunsets

There really is nothing like an Arizona sunset. I'm yet to experience anything like it in my life and not being able to see these amazing reds and pinks every night will be tough to get used to!

Snooze

You saw me rave about it in my Favourite Things About Phoenix post, but Snooze is by far my favourite place to go out to eat to here. Everything I've had from their menu is incredible and the atmosphere and staff are second to none.

The Weather

You must have expected this one! As much as I have missed something resembling seasons, I really cannot complain about the weather I've had whilst I've been out here. I'm not too fussed about the temperature but the near constant sunshine is amazing.

Spending Time Outside

I have been able to really make the most of being outdoors whilst living in AZ. From lounging in between classes on campus or eating outside at restaurants much later in the evening, I've been able to do it all. I love being outside so it will certainly take some getting used to to have that element taken away.

The People

I couldn't write this post without referencing the incredible people I have met out here. The biggest reason I am sad to leave is because I will be leaving some of the greatest friends I have ever made out here. My friends have made the distance between my family and I so much easier to deal with, they've made me laugh, cry and I am taking away so many amazing memories of them.

Be sure to check back next week when I will post a summary and overall review of my study abroad year!
Love Always,
